De Triumph TR6 is zonder enige twijfel een zeer gewilde en populaire klassieke auto. Het is een echte sportwagen met een 2.5 liter zescilinder lijnmotor met prachtig uitlaatgeluid als resultaat. De auto wordt helemaal interessant als hij voorzien is in de stijlvolle kleur British Racing Green, zoals deze schitterende Triumph TR6 uit 1972.

Oorspronkelijk is de auto afkomstig uit Houston Texas (originele US Title is nog aanwezig) en in de jaren 90 in Nederland gekomen. Vervolgens is de auto volledig gerestaureerd en is ook het motorblok vakkundig gereviseerd. Tijdens de revisie is de cilinderkop geschikt gemaakt voor loodvrije brandstof. De auto is overigens volledig ‘matching-numbers’. In 2011 is het differentieel compleet gereviseerd en later zijn er achter nog Koni schokdempers gemonteerd.

De auto is in de afgelopen jaren met veel zorg en liefde onderhouden. En dat is goed te zien aan deze schitterende TR6. De auto is in bijzonder goede conditie. Het lakwerk en het chroomwerk is nog heel mooi en ook de carrosseriedelen sluiten prima op elkaar aan. Zowel de carrosserie als de onderzijde zijn nog in harde en goede staat. De verstralers aan de voorzijde geven de auto een extra sportieve look evenals de bijzonder mooie minilight lichtmetalen velgen.

Ook het interieur is nog in prima conditie. Het dashboard is in zeer goede staat en alle instrumenten werken naar behoren. De stoelbekleding is op een paar plekken na, nog in prima staat. De gemonteerde Terratrip meter werkt ook naar behoren en is voorzien van een voetschakelaar. Overigens is het originele dashboardklepje ook aanwezig. De cabrioletkap heeft een paar kleine plekjes, maar is nog in goede staat en functioneert ook goed.

Zoals gezegd, deze Triumph TR6 is met veel zorg en liefde onderhouden. Dat is niet alleen zichtbaar aan de auto zelf, maar ook aan de uitgebreide onderhoudshistorie die bij de auto aanwezig is.
